Calowries is a natural, steroid-free, enzyme-based supplement that helps overweight dogs and cats lose weight by boosting metabolism and converting stored fat into usable energy, rather than simply restricting calorie intake.
Composition: Per 10g: Garcinia Cambogia extract 32mg (known for weight-management properties), Lipase (50,000 units) 16mg, Coenzyme Q10 8mg.
Indications: Obesity and overweight management in dogs and cats; supportive metabolic boost for sedentary pets or those recovering from surgery with associated weight gain.
Dosage: Small dogs & cats: 5g daily. Medium dogs: 10-15g daily. Large dogs: 15-30g daily, or as recommended by the vet. Use consistently for 4-6 weeks for best results.
Directions for use: Mix the powder into food, once daily.
How does the medicine work? : Garcinia Cambogia extract acts as an appetite suppressant and supports fat metabolism; lipase and CoQ10 boost mitochondrial fat oxidation, converting fat cells into usable energy and increasing activity level - together supporting weight loss through boosted metabolism rather than calorie restriction alone.
Possible side effects: Generally well tolerated as a natural, steroid-free supplement; best used alongside a vet-guided diet and exercise plan rather than as a standalone weight-loss solution.
