Furglow is a skin and coat tonic providing a balanced 10:1 ratio of Omega-6 to Omega-3 fatty acids, along with zinc, selenium and vitamins, to support a glossy coat and healthy skin in dogs.
Composition: Linoleic acid, linolenic acid and oleic acid (plant-derived Omega-6/Omega-3 oils), Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin D3, Vitamin B6, Biotin, Selenium and Zinc.
Indications: Dull or dry coat; excessive hair shedding; flaky skin and dandruff; supportive care for allergic skin conditions (flea bite dermatitis, atopy); fungal skin infections and pyoderma (as an adjunct to primary treatment).
Dosage: Small breeds: adults 5-10ml twice daily, pups 1.5-2.5ml twice daily. Large breeds: adults 10-15ml twice daily, pups 3-5ml twice daily. Cats: 2.5-5ml twice daily.
Directions for use: Pour directly into the mouth or mix into food, twice daily.
How does the medicine work? : Omega-6 and Omega-3 fatty acids support the skin's lipid barrier and reduce inflammation, while zinc helps prevent scaly dermatitis and hair loss - together improving coat shine and skin resilience over several weeks of use.
Possible side effects: Generally well tolerated. Consult the vet before use in pets with fish allergies or those on blood-thinning medication, since it contains fatty-acid oils.
