Vivaldis Clearify (Tris-EDTA) Ear Cleansing Solution for Dogs & Cats (100ml)

Clearify is a Tris-EDTA ear cleansing solution that helps manage otitis by breaking down bacterial biofilms and creating unfavourable conditions for bacterial and fungal growth (including Malassezia), while soothing the ear canal.

Composition: Tris-EDTA (Tromethamine-EDTA) aqueous solution.

Indications: Routine ear cleaning, removal of excess cerumen and debris, supportive care in otitis externa, and enhanced effectiveness of antibiotic ear treatments by disrupting bacterial biofilms.

Dosage: Instil 10-15 drops into each ear, or as directed by the vet.

Directions for use: Shake well before use. Apply into the ear canal, gently massage the base of the ear, then wipe away excess solution and debris with cotton. Repeat as necessary.

How does the medicine work? : Tris-EDTA disrupts the outer membrane of bacteria and breaks down biofilms, making the ear canal environment hostile to pathogens and improving the penetration of any follow-on antibiotic treatment.

Possible side effects: Generally well tolerated. Do not use if the eardrum is ruptured or perforated without vet guidance.
