Scavon Vet Cream is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial herbal wound healer that promotes faster healing through rapid collagenisation and epithelialisation, while controlling bacterial and fungal skin infections and repelling flies from wounds.
Composition: Atasi/Linseed oil (Linum usitatissimum) 50mg, Tailapatra/Eucalyptus oil (Eucalyptus globulus) 50mg, Karpura/Camphor (Cinnamomum camphora) 25mg, Tulasi (Ocimum sanctum) 12mg, Vacha (Acorus calamus) 7mg, and Yashada Bhasma (zinc-based Ayurvedic preparation) 25mg.
Indications: Traumatic and surgical wounds; maggoted and infected wounds; bacterial and fungal skin infections; foot and mouth lesions; supportive care in sarcoptic/psoroptic mange.
Dosage: Apply twice daily to the affected area, or as directed by the vet.
Directions for Use: Clip fur around the wound if needed and clean the area, then apply the cream directly to the wound, twice daily.
How does the medicine work?: Eucalyptus oil provides antiseptic and germicidal action; camphor and linseed oil support tissue repair; tulsi and vacha add antimicrobial and soothing properties; zinc (Yashada Bhasma) supports epithelial healing - together promoting collagenisation and faster wound closure while repelling flies and controlling infection.
